Sidewinder Circular Saw
A sidewinder circular saw, as the name implies, has the motor on one side of the saw. A worm-drive motor circular saw and hypoid motor circular saw have the motor at the rear of the saw, and its power is transferred to the blade with a pair of gears that are oriented at a 90 degree angle.
