Mine did not come with a battery. My Wal-Mart store had the lithium battery which works best.

Does this item include the battery and charger? If not, where can I find them? I did not see them on the Wal-mart site.

Thank you for your question. The Skil 5995 circular saws uses 5-3/8" blades with a 10mm arbor. Vermont American makes this size blade, #26121 - 18 tooth arbide tipped, #26122 - 24 tooth carbide tipped and #26127 - 80 tooth steel.

what size is the mounting hole in the blade. I found several on line but need to know the size.

I have had it for a couple of years and love it. Have done a lot of work with it. Now I'm looking for a blade for it and can't seem to find one. Find everything but a 5 3/8 and the small hole in the centre.

For christmas this year i got my husband this he has always wanted one of these for a long time but never had the time or money was short but when i found this it was a blessing for me to find this for such a grate price and even thought the charger and dock dose not come with it you can still get it on the skil website .

MY baby did not know i was going to give him this.

Building a shed and cuts right through the 2X6 treated floor boards. Portable and lot easier than setting up my generator as it has been raining hit and miss almost every day. But use the more powerful and longer lasting lithium battery as you will be disappointed with the other. When the battery runs down its time for a break anyway and charges in 30 minutes.

I have owned this saw for three years now. I gave it a lot of heavy use and still works fine the blades were a bit hard to find but several of the big box stores have them (not skil brand) A good tool at a good price.

Good tool for a reasonable price

2nd cordless saw I have owned and this one is great. Lightweight manueverable

I had the Skil cordless drill/driver with 2 li-poly batteries, so this was a good choice for me.
DON'T expect it to cut like a large circular saw, it's a small 5 3/8 inch. I use a lot
of 1 x 4 and plywood in my projects and it works great for that. If you only have a few cuts to make in 2 x 4 material this will work, but it's really not made for heave construction. Overall
I really like it and would recommend it to a friend. BUT remember it DOES NOT come with a battery or charger.

In reading the specs on this item you would think it would come with at least a battery,but NO. And you can not buy a battery for this item at Wal Mart stores and I have not found it on walmart.com either! This will be the last type of power tool I will buy from Wal Mart period!
